For many missionaries, ministry is about numbers since most mission trips first involve cost, then logistics. Careful planning evolves into opportunities to advance the gospel, and this ministry is no different.
Because our evangelical tool is an actual book, albeit a small one, it must be printed. Before it can be printed, it had to be produced, and even before it was assembled, the illustrations had to be drawn.
While the cost associated with publishing such a powerful tool are not astronomical, the number of books our ministry has been blessed to distribute is starting to be quite impressive.
For example, just last month our prison ministry shipped over 250,000 books (yes, a quarter of a million books!) to over 950 correctional institutions in 21 US states.
Our experience shows that 1 in 10 (or more) inmates who read the book will come to know Jesus, and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. If you do the math, that’s over 25,000 souls harvested for Christ.
When I brought this up with my wife earlier, she exclaimed “that’s an army!”
I give praise to God for the mission He entrusted to my team and me, and I could not be happier with the numbers that reveal the reach and extent of this ministry.
